BAHRAIN - The tactics of King

Faced with the challenge to the street, the monarchy of Bahrain initially responded with the brutal repression: the record is 7 dead and dozens injured. She could this be based on an army largely composed of recently naturalized foreigners, not likely to socialize with people. When it turned out that this did not prevent the demonstrators to persevere, King Hamad ibn Isa Al-Khalifa has made a complete turnaround.

He now leaves the events unfold without giving rise to any confrontation, relying on the exhaustion of the movement, which lasts for a month. The scheme also believe that its offers of dialogue will eventually break the unity of the opposition. And he tries to present it in terms only of the Shia [the majority of Bahrainis are Shia while the ruling family is Sunni], with the underlying accusation that it is orchestrated by Tehran.
