UNITED STATES - A close Obama takes the mayor of Chicago

February 22, Rahm Emanuel, the former chief of staff for Barack Obama was elected mayor of Chicago. Credited with 55% of the vote, Democrat ends at forty-three year reign of Daley's father and son. In editorial, the daily newspaper wishes him "good luck", considering that his outspokenness has been his best weapon Campaign: "Let the voters like Emanuel or not, they all understood that it would begin soon on 23 February to s attacking the imbalance between stagnant incomes of the city and its excessive spending.
