Prince William is still in shock after his first mission as pilot of the RAF rescue ended with the death of the victim. The eldest son of Charles and Diana was, in fact, made in North Wales groped for the recovery of an elderly woman who, during a walk with the dog, rushed for more than 40 feet from a rocky ridge.

Despite the strong wind, which has repeatedly threatened to end the helicopter that William was co-piloting the rocks, the crew still managed to reach the 73enne Mageean Barbara, who was lying unconscious on the rocks below, and hoist on a rescue stretcher, which was made safe thanks to a helicopter winch.

Once on board, however, it was soon realized that the conditions of the victim were desperate, so that the woman was pronounced dead soon came to the hospital in Bangor. As far as we could understand, Mrs. Mageean was walking along with her husband Owen and their little dog to Llanbadraig, near Cemaes: at some point the animal would come over the cliff and the woman, fearing it might fall, he would take it to basket, tragically lost his balance and slipped it underneath.

A violent fall along the ridge of rock that has cost her life. "It 's the first time that William finds himself face to face with death - the usual source told the tabloid the London Sun anonymity protected - and it's always a tragic and frustrating. He must remain calm and focused on his training, but not so quickly forget this episode.

" The prince became a skilled pilot in the research and rescue of victims last year and is stationed at RAF Valley in Anglesey, Wales. The police have opened an investigation, now archived, while a spokesman for the RAF confirmed the intervention of the rescue patrol in the operation which also involved the Coast Guard in the area.
