YEMEN - The Gulf countries are urging the president Saleh to leave

The foreign ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) called on 10 April, President Saleh to hand over power to Vice-President, announced in a daily in Dubai. The GCC wants the opposition to form a national unity government to prepare a constitutional reform and new elections in Yemen. On 8 April, President Saleh was denied a plan to end the crisis of the GCC and denounced "a flagrant interference in Yemeni affairs."
