ROME .- The King Juan Carlos has come at ten o'clock on Thursday at Rome's Ciampino airport aboard a Falcon 900 Spanish Air Force to attend the military parade to be held from eleven am in the Imperial Forum in Rome on the occasion of 150 anniversary of the unification of Italy. Along with the King has traveled the Third Deputy Prime Minister, Manuel Chaves, and the head of the Royal Household, Alberto Aza Arias.
This ceremony was attended by a total of 80 foreign delegations, including a total of 42 heads of State and Government, as Russian President Dimitri Medvedev, the U.S. vice president, Joe Biden, the chairman of the German Federal Republic, Christian Wulff, and Austrian President Heinz Fisher.
Furthermore, also attended by Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Spain will be represented by the flag of our country, escorted by two officers of the Spanish Armada.
