Kim Jong-il come to Beijing to meet Chinese president

Seoul .- North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, arrived this morning in Beijing from Nanqing on the sixth day of his visit to Chinay presumably will meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao, South Korean news agency Yonhap. The communist leader's armored train reached the station in Beijing early in the morning and later the North Korean delegation headed possibly to the guesthouse Diaoyutai State in China's capital.

As has happened since Friday, when it was reported that Kim's special train crossed the border between China and North Korea, the destination of the train North Korean leader has been kept secret and has been known for the presence of large security deployments and official cars. Diplomatic sources said South Korean, Kim met on Monday in the city of Yangzhou with former Chinese President Jiang Zemin after visiting industrial complexes and telecommunications developed by its main ally and second world economy.

Kim's trip could aim to learn from China's development, help to overcome its poor economic situation and receive support from Beijing to Kim Jong-un, youngest son of North Korean leader as heir to consolidate power in the opaque regime Communist. This is the third visit of Kim Jong-il to China in the course of a year and as usual is not expected to be confirmed by the Chinese and North Korean state media until the end.

Last August, on his last trip to mainland China, Kim Jong-il met in the city of Changchun, Jilin Province, with Hu Jintao and believed that the meeting was discussion of China's assistance to its ally North Korea. The last visit of Kim Jong-il to China have been at the invitation of Beijing, which also show examples of its industrial and technological development has tried to intercede to improve relations with South Korea after exchanging gunfire in a South Korean island border in November last year.
