Supporters of gun down a gear Saleh in Sanaa, killing five people

Taiz. .- At least five protesters were killed and dozens wounded in an attack by supporters of the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sana'a against the march, according to medical sources and witnesses. The sources told Efe that Saleh's supporters fired guns "Kalashnikov" against thousands of protesters near the headquarters of state television, where they arrived to protest the "lies" spread.

The attackers are part of government supporters who are camped in Sana'a Stadium, located next to the television building. After the shooting the demonstrators threw stones at Saleh's supporters, witnesses said. For their part, hospital officials have not ruled out increasing the number of fatalities due to the severity of some of the wounded.

This incident comes after this morning at least three people were killed, including a policeman, in clashes between security forces and protesters who tried to impose the closure of several businesses in the cities of Aden and Lahech, in the south. On the other hand, in the city of Taiz, 257 kilometers southwest of Sana'a, we developed a mass demonstration against the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who passed peacefully, according to Efe could verify.
