Shot and killed an Iraqi family

The four members of an Iraqi family were shot dead early on Monday by a group of strangers who broke into her home in western Baghdad, police sources reported. The attackers used guns with silencers to kill the father, his wife and their two daughters, and after committing the mass murder fled to an unknown destination.

Not informed of the identity of the deceased or the motives of the attack. On the other hand, the same sources said that two car bombs have exploded at a checkpoint outside the heavily fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, killing at least nine people, including five Iraqi soldiers and 23 wounded.
