The regime of Laurent Gbagbo is on the verge of collapse. General Philippe Mangou, Chief of Defence Staff, has dropped. Since March 30 the night he fled with his family at the Embassy of South Africa. The forces pro-Ouattara took on March 31 the strategic town of San Pedro and they are at the gates of Abidjan, the economic capital.
