The government moves to locate the photographer disappeared in Libya

Berlin .- The Spanish foreign minister, Trinidad Jimenez, said Thursday that when the Government is aware of the disappearance of a Spanish photographer in Libya has been in contact with his family and "right from the start" paying attention to this matter to find her whereabouts. Jimenez was speaking to journalists in Berlin, where he participated in the Spanish-German forum, after learning that the photographer Manuel Varela de Seijas, moved to cover the war in Libya, has been missing along with three other journalists since last Monday .

The Spanish diplomat explained that since he has seen the disappearance, the government has been in contact with the rotating presidency of the European Union in the hands of Hungary, to address this issue and make all arrangements necessary. At the same time, the Executive has been in contact with the family of the photographer through Consular Emergency to report "the minute" of the situation and how the events evolve.

"We work with full attention from the first minute until we get to their whereabouts, "he stressed.
