TUNISIA - Mohamed Ghannouchi scares

Ghannouchi, I was still a child when your followers terrorized their fellow citizens by spreading vitriol on their faces. I was a kid, but I still remember. A few smiles before the television cameras and a few stunts do not make me forget, nor will I forget the decades of statements, position papers, but a single political project.

The tree of communication and computation and electoral politician does not hide the forest of the back of your mind and your ideology. However, the biggest travesty is the supposed progressiveness of thought and reformism of the alleged political project of your party. What a joke! Plastic surgery had its effect, but under the guise of fundamentalism remains glossy.

Do not climb on your high horse, here is the term without connotations and refers only to your own statements, that "Islam is to be taken as a political, economic, social, moral." In other words, you think just simplifying, Islam is totalitarian! You can get on your high horse now, the term is here used with a pejorative connotation.

In reading your literature, one can only conclude, under the tip of the iceberg, its total opposite: Your Islamism is fundamental, total and retrograde. So please, Sheikh Ghannouchi and you Ennahda executives, stop this charade and have the courage not to deceive your fellow citizens, tell them you want the power, nor your ideas or your project or your methods are new, tell them that your Islam is fundamental.

Ghannouchi, the political struggle is a struggle of ideas and programs, not personal beliefs and interpretations of a sacred text. As for faith and freedom of worship, it can not be rewarded with political office if she is sincere and unselfish. From what I have written to you, it is obvious that I will never vote for you, but I confess and beg you to believe me, if ever elections (presidential, parliamentary and municipal) were held tomorrow, I would not vote, because to my knowledge, no party nor any independent person has yet proposed a unique project as was the revolution we have lived through a draft to the aspirations of the revolution.

Democracy, which was one of the first aspirations of the revolution is in no way incompatible with Islam, but it is incompatible with Islam, because as you know better than anyone, Islamism is a mixture between commodification of religious feelings and political schizophrenia. This small country that we share, have the political courage and sincerity to admit that he must continue separating sail respect to the earthly life of respect for the life of the au- beyond.
