United Kingdom works with the UN and the EU in order to launch a "strong message" to the Syrian regime and get to the bloody repression against protesters, as indicated on Tuesday the British foreign minister, William Hague. "The UK is working intensively with its international partners to persuade the Syrian authorities to put an end to violence and respect the rights of man", as indicated Hague.
"It's about working with our partners in the Security Council United Nations to send a strong message to the Syrian authorities, making them see that the eyes of the international community to settle on Syria and may have additional measures on them by EU members and the region, "stated the headline in a statement.
United Kingdom, France, Germany and Portugal are being circulated by the Security Council of a proposed condemnation of Damascus.
