This afternoon gadafistas forces have taken the Ras Lanuf oil enclave, about 450 kilometers east of Benghazi, and militants are regrouping to Brega, 200 miles east, according to a revolutionary commander quoted by Al Jazeera. In the last few hours had spread chaos among the rebel militias that controlled Ras Lanuf offensive by air, land and sea launched by Muammar al-Gaddafi brigades against the town.

One of the spokesmen for the rebels, Iman Bugaighis, said shortly before Gaddafi's forces had bombed this Thursday several residential buildings in its offensive, which, as noted, have used commercial vessels. Bugaighis, who described the situation as very serious, warned that the current offensive forces Gaddafi could affect traffic through the Mediterranean and cause a humanitarian crisis and an environmental disaster.

According to the spokesman, at least two cars were bombed militants. Bugaighis said the airstrike hit a clinic in Ras Lanuf, which had to be evicted. It also expressed concern that the bombings, which have already affected oil facilities and pipelines, could damage oil deposits located in the area.

The attack in this area is being launched by the troops of Muammar Qadhafi from the sea, by air and by land from the west and south of Ras Lanuf, the most intense offensive Libyan armed forces since the outbreak hostilities on the Eastern Front. Ras Lanuf around, the most important point of this area have been attacked last Sunday by land and by air to force a withdrawal of rebel troops, who had to fight fierce battles to control Ben Jawad.

In Ben Jawad no confirmation about who now controlled the town, which was occupied by rebel forces on Saturday and recovered by troops loyal to Gaddafi a day later. Libyan Air Force, besides punishing the area, has expanded its attacks on the city of Briga, about 200 miles east of Ras Lanuf, away from the area being the scene of intense fighting.
