Sarkozy hosts a meeting with Libyan rebels in Paris

Paris .- Emissaries of the Libyan National Transitional Council (CNLT) will meet again today in Paris with the French authorities, a spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The spokesman gave no details on the time of the meeting to be held at the headquarters of the Ministry, or of its participants, but recalled that France considers the CNLT a "legitimate political party" of their country.

The French daily "Le Parisien" had advanced today that two members of the Council were to come this morning to Paris to deal with "high-ranking French official," the future of the political situation in the country after Allied military operation against Libya . According to the paper, it is expected that the envoys will also meet with the French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy, who was present at the meeting on March 10, President Nicolas Sarkozy to the Libyan opposition.
