He drank gasoline, it has been sprayed by the body and has set fire to himself

A Buddhist monk has died Monday after a fire sacrifice themselves with Tibetan area of Sichuan province, China (southwest), the agency has announced 'New China' and a witness, the second immolation this year in the region. The monk, 29, has set fire to his robe Daofu in Sichuan Province, and died shortly after by the serious injuries and burns sustained, according to official Chinese agency, citing officials of the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gandz.


A receptionist at a hotel near the scene of the tragedy has confirmed the information. "I saw a monk on the ground whose body was burned completely," said the witness. "He died just before the building of the county authorities. Immolate himself before the fire had distributed pamphlets in the area," added the witness, stating that the facts have been developed in Daofu, where is located the monastery.

According to the Free Tibet organization, based in London, The monk, identified as Tsewang Norbu, the monastery was Nyitso. "He drank gasoline, it has been sprayed by the body and has set fire to his robe." Another government agency has added the last words shouted the monk while he was searing: "We the people of Tibet, we want freedom", "Long live the Dalai Lama", "Let the Dalai Lama into Tibet." This is the second public immolation of a Buddhist monk in so far this year in China.
