Marine Le Pen's National Front says it does not appear, but to win

Marine Le Pen said on Sunday that his political aim is to "win" and not just "appear." The leader of the French far right spoke the day after a poll of 'Le Parisien' awarded by the 23% of likely voters, a figure that exceeds 21% of President Nicolas Sarkozy and Socialist leader Martine Aubry. "In my opinion there will be a surprise," said the daughter of Jean-Marie le Pen in allusion to the upcoming elections.

"I want my project to develop and implement my solutions, which are the National Front (FN)," he said. The survey, conducted by pollster Harris Interactive, has caused an earthquake in the French political class. Everyone remembers the 'shock' which gave Jean-Marie le Pen in 2002, when he came to contest the second round after 'delete' the Socialist Lionel Jospin in the first.

"Three months ago, had 11% or 12%. Now I'm between 20% and 25%. Do not you think something is going on? I think so," declared the leader of the FN, 42. He explained: "We are facing an old political class, with old solutions, while we represent a hope for the people, you see how the situation to deteriorate over 30 years."
