The National Transitional Council (CNT) Libyan estimated will have achieved a victory over the regime of Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi at the end of August, which coincides with the end of Ramadan.
The CNT representative also said the rebels desire to reach a negotiated settlement, provided that Gaddafi and his sons leave the country. For its part, NATO has ensured that the conflict on the ground is far from over, although the region of Tripoli is controlled essentially in its contours by the anti-Gaddafi" following the latest developments.
