The Alawite ruler Mohamed VI has led his people tonight in a speech that started at nine pm local time to present its reform of the Constitution. Morocco held a referendum on her next July 1. With this reform, the monarch has said in his speech a little over 20 minutes waiting qualify as a worthy citizen and an egalitarian social justice. And it has ensured that the new constitution enshrines a citizen monarchy and a citizen king, stipulating the inviolability of the figure of the king and respect that is owed as king, spiritual leader and head of state.

The Constitution also gives more legislative power to Parliament. The Constitution also promote all the Moroccan cultural and linguistic expressions, "first, the Hassani (Sahrawi dialect) as a true culture of our beloved southern provinces (as referred to in Morocco to Western Sahara)." Another aim will be to ensure equality between men and women and to that end establish a mechanism to promote parity.
