Gulf troops enter Bahrain

Bahraini opposition, led by Shiites, on Monday criticized "foreign occupation" that the country is living, after troops of the joint strength of the Gulf countries from entering their territory. The soldiers have come to help restore order, while increasing protests against the Sunni dynasty of the Al Khalifa.

"The people of Bahrain faces a real danger: that of a war against the Bahraini without a declaration of war", have secured the seven core members of the opposition. "We believe the entry of any soldier or military vehicle in the spaces land, air or sea of \u200b\u200bthe Kingdom of Bahrain as a total occupation or plot against the unarmed people of Bahrain, and a violation of international conventions," added the opposition.

More than a thousand soldiers have entered Saudi Arabia in Bahrain, according to a Saudi official. The Bahraini authorities have not officially confirmed, but state television has shown footage of a convoy of the joint strength of the Gulf countries coming into Bahrain from Saudi Arabia.

Riyadh has said to have "responded to the call for help from Bahrain" a government statement. United Arab Emirates has also announced to send 500 police to "help preserve order and stability" in the neighboring country. From Washington, has appealed for calm. For the White House, the entry of troops in Bahrain Gulf countries is not an "invasion." However, the U.S.

has urged its citizens not to travel to Bahrain. "We urge American citizens not to travel to Bahrain at this time," said U.S. State Department, also urged Americans already in the country to "consider the possibility of leaving" and authorizes the output volunteer families of its diplomatic staff.
