Cuba's President Raul Castro and his brother Fidel on Friday visited the Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, who is recovering in Havana from surgery and with whom they discussed bilateral and international issues, according to official media reported Saturday.
The official Granma newspaper published photographs of the visit of the brothers Castro to Hugo Chavez, who was seen with sports clothing, smiling and looking good with Fidel and General Raul in military uniform.
The Cuban media images accompanied with a short note which described as "fraternal" encounter that Castro and Hugo Chavez took to review "the close ties between Venezuela and Cuba" and treat "various current international issues."
