Gadhafi says he would favor a UN commission visit Libya

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has stated that "it would be favorable" to a committee of United Nations (UN) and African Union (AU) visit the country to assess the place and the situation is going after 20 days scrambled to end 42 years of his power. In an interview with the weekly "Le Journal du Dimanche ', the tyrant says," First, would like a research team from the United Nations or African Union came to Libya.

" The Libyan leader also challenged France and says that if the country "wants to coordinate and direct the committee, I would be favorable." This is Gaddafi's response to a request made on 22 February in Geneva the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, who demanded the opening of an "independent international investigation" to clarify the acts of violence and deaths that are taking place in the country right now.

In the interview, Gadhafi also affirms that its troops have fired on civilians and denies that a balance of 6,000 fatalities spokesman offered the Libyan League for Human Rights (LLHR), Ali Zeidan. Gaddafi also says in "Le Journal du Dimanche 'that is engaged in a struggle against terrorism and is appalled at the lack of support abroad.

"I'm surprised that nobody understands that this is a fight against terrorism," he explains. "Our security services are cooperating. We have helped many in recent years. So why when we are in a fight against terrorism here in Libya nobody helps you change?" He asks.
